Leo Spirit Award
Award Overview
The Leo Spirit Award is an annual award recognizing individual students who exemplify the “Spirit of Leo” during Global Glimpse international travel programs. At the end of the summer, the Live Like Leo Foundation selects up to five students that exemplified the core values of the Live Like Leo Foundation during their travel abroad program. Student selection will be based on nominations from student peers, educators and international program leaders. Selected recipients will receive a scholarship to be used towards college expenses, travel, etc.
Core Leadership Values
The scholarship will be granted to individuals who have made a positive impact on the lives of the people in their community.
The Live Like Leo Foundation Scholarship Committee welcomes nominations of individuals who consistently demonstrate the core peer leadership values of the foundation:
Compassion
Ability to understand and accommodate the needs of others.
Camaraderie
Making others feel seen, heard and welcomed.
Courage
Doing what is necessary for growth even when it is uncomfortable or scary.
